Knowlwood Restaurant is sort of a hidden gem in Irvine. It’s not actually hidden though, because you can see it off I-5! Simply exit on Sand Canyon and immediately turn on Burt Road, it’s right on the corner next to Denny’s!
My first experience here was very pleasant. They had an Artemis 2 Watch Party event and a large Meetup group Game night! High attendance! There is a wide open dining area, solo stool seating, 2 private rooms and beautifully lit outdoor seating.
I felt quite welcomed to enjoy my hot, crispy chicken wings and a beer at my own little table by the big screen as I watched our astronauts come home 🇺🇸!
They had these very fun inflatable rockets on the counter that I fell in love with! On my way out they let me have one!
Family friendly, good all American menu and extremely comfortable setting.

We cannot say enough wonderful things about Gilda, Ramón, and the entire team at Knowlwood Restaurant in Irvine!
Yesterday, The Music Lair had another successful 2-hour music production workshop at Knowlwood Restaurant in Irvine, and we had the opportunity to work with an amazing 10-year-old young man who stayed completely focused, engaged, and excited for the entire two hours. By the end of the workshop, he had recorded and produced his very own song from start to finish! Seeing his parents’ pride and excitement as they watched their son stay focused, learn new technology, and complete something he created himself was incredibly rewarding.
But opportunities like this would not be possible without the generosity and support of Gilda, Ramón, and their wonderful staff at Knowlwood Restaurant.
Since the beginning of the year, The Music Lair has had several workshops at Knowlwood, and every time we are greeted with the same kindness, hospitality, generosity, and genuine support. Gilda, Ramón, and their entire staff have made us feel welcomed and appreciated from day one.
What makes this partnership so special is that Knowlwood has provided us with a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment where we can introduce young people to music, technology, creativity, and self-expression. While the kids are learning and creating, their families can relax, enjoy a delicious meal, and be part of the experience.
We truly believe that partnerships like this can make a positive difference in our community. When local businesses are willing to open their doors and support programs that inspire and enrich our youth, wonderful things can happen.
Gilda, Ramón, and the entire Knowlwood staff — thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your continued support of The Music Lair and for believing in what we are trying to accomplish with our young people. We are incredibly grateful for your kindness, generosity, and hospitality.

Not the best, not the worst. The half pound cheeseburger is decent. The meat lacks flavor and I couldn't taste the thousand island dressing (I'll ask for it on the side next time). The veggies seem fresh. The onion rings are mediocre. The fries are ok. Zucchini sticks are ok. The salad is ok. The ranch dressing is good. My dad likes to eat here after his doctor's appointments so I might try something different next time.

Best service ever, I lost my phone in a 1 in a million spot slid right in the on the side of the booth. Half the staff came out and went to work getting it. took over a half hour and about 7 different tools. But they got it! The prices are great family can eat under $50 here. The restaurant is one kind decor as well. The buildings over 100 years old!
